My blog on WordPress called “Crazy Planet” is about stuff I see that’s crazy on our planet and my alternative solutions. Afterall, what you don’t know, can kill you. So I’m trying to do my part.
Update: I saw too many things that were crazy on this planet so I switched my focus to health and nutrition topics.
I cover nutrition and show what I eat. Some people have been asking me what I eat. So I decided to start blogging and taking photos so people can literally see what I eat. I also post some health info. I hope to encourage people to eat healthier.
My eating history:
Standard American Diet: birth to before summer 1992. (growing up)
Pescetarian: from summer 1992 to june 2009.
Cooked food vegan: from June 2009 to February 25, 2010.
100% Raw food vegan: Feb. 25, 2010 to April 11, 2010. (It was a 30 day raw challenge that I signed up for online but I took it to 46 days. I felt alot healthier.)
Pescetarian: 2011-Jan. 31, 2015
Cooked food vegan: Feb. 1, 2015 – Jan. 10, 2016.
Raw food vegan: Jan. 11, 2016-August 2016 (felt healthier)
Vegan (cooked and raw): Sept. 2016 – Present. (trying to eat more raw)
A raw vegan diet includes raw vegetables and fruits, nuts, grain and legume sprouts, seeds, sea vegetables, herbs, mushrooms, fresh juices, smoothies…basically any plant. It excludes all food and products of animal origin, as well as food cooked at a temperature above 118 °F. A dehydrator can be used to heat food or create raw dishes under 118 °F, if wanted.
I know I feel my best when eating as a raw food vegan. Also being a raw food vegan can cure diseases, help people live longer and healthier, and there are several older people who have been eating as a raw food vegan for a long time and they look about ALOT younger. It’s like a “fountain of youth”. And one guy (Bernando LaPallo) who was eating mostly raw food lived to 114 years old and was healthy & productive.
