Artificial sweeteners are dangerous and in alot of products such as diet sodas and sugar substitutes. Examples of artificial sweeteners include Aspartame (NutraSweet, Equal, diet pepsi or diet coke, etc.), Splenda and Saccharin. Search the internet for info on the sweeteners you’re consuming.
“Info on toxicity of Aspartame has been suppressed for 20-30 years. It was developed in a program during WWII to create a neurotoxin to kill enemy soldiers. -aa”
“When the temperature of Aspartame exceeds 86 degrees F, the wood alcohol in ASPARTAME coverts to formaldehyde and then to formic acid, which in turn causes metabolic acidosis. (Formic acid is the poison found in the sting of fire ants.) The methanol toxicity mimics multiple sclerosis.”…..”If you are using ASPARTAME [NutraSweet, Equal, Spoonful, etc.] and you suffer from fibromyalgia symptoms, spasms, shooting pains, numbness in your legs, cramps, vertigo, dizziness, headaches, tinnitus, joint pain, depression, anxiety attacks, slurred speech, blurred vision, or memory loss, you probably have ASPARTAME DISEASE!”
As for Saccharin:
“Many studies have since been performed on saccharin, some showing a correlation between saccharin consumption and increased frequency of cancer (especially bladder cancer)”.
For about 14 years (before the year 2000), products containing saccharin had to have this cancer warning on them:
“USE OF THIS PRODUCT MAY BE HAZARDOUS TO YOUR HEALTH. THIS PRODUCT CONTAINS SACCHARIN WHICH HAS BEEN DETERMINED TO CAUSE CANCER IN LABORATORY ANIMALS.”
As for Splenda:
“Concerns have been raised about the effect of sucralose on the thymus, an organ that is important to the immune system. A report from NICNAS cites two studies on rats, both of which found “a significant decrease in mean thymus weight” at a certain dose.”
-Do not drink diet sodas or consume sugar substitutes.
-Use a natural sugar substitute such as stevia available in health food stores.
